Hi GMC! Welcome once again to the Exotic Scales series and to the second part of the Locrian #2 natural 3 scale. In this lesson we will see the application of the scale. I composed a solo so you can get ideas, patterns, arpeggios and different things to start approaching this new scale sound.
The techniques used in this lesson are:
- Tapping
* Sweeping
* Legato
* Sliding
* Pre-Bending
I hope you have fun playing the solo and you can make one of your own. If you do please post it so we can discuss about.
Be free to ask any questions. I hope you enjoy the lesson!
Here is the chord progression: C7(b5#9)- Emaj7- Fm maj7- Bbsus2- Bbsus2/C- Bbsus2/Gb- D#m6- Bbsus2- Bbsus2/C- Gb7(b5)- Ab7- C7(b5#9)- Emaj7- Fm maj7- C7(#5).
