RHYTHM/RIFFS LESSON. Riffing using power chords and open strings in the style of Faith No More.
Tags : Faith No More, Power Chords, Alternative metal

Hi guys! Faith No More is one of my favourite band. Before the "nu metal" words came out, they did some excellent records, mixing different elements from heavy metal, rap, progressive rock, funk and so on.

One of the things I like most of their songs is the voice of Mike Patton and the way they used keyboards. Anyway, the good news is that after the breakup of 1998 they will tour together again in Europe this summer!

In this lesson I used many power chords and you can find the diagrams below, with other chords too.

Settings for the Korg Pandora PX4D I've used are:
Dyna: Off
Amp: UK '80s - Gain 6.0 - Bass 6.0 - Treble 6.3 - Middle 6.7
Cab: 4x12MDN - Value 4.0
Mod: CHORUS2 - Value 0.20
Dly: DELAY2 - Value 4.7 - Delay Time 158
Rev: Off
NR: Value 2.7

Enjoy!
