  • Hi everyone, today I´m bringing a famous lute piece by J. Dowland called Fantasia 7. The transcription was made from the tablature by J.J.Olguin a local classical guitar professor. We´ll be having 6 lessons covering the whole piece. Those who liked the "Lachrimae Pavan" series will surely love this piece, it is great for both hands, and for those who like shredding I´m sure you will find parts 5 and 6 of the present series challenging enough.

I used a capo to make the guitar sound more like a lute, this instrument is played with no nails so I didn´t use any reststroke. Tha phrases may seem a little large in the explanatory vids, but I wanted to reflect an appropriate phrasing for this part of the piece based on the structure. The 3rd string is tuned to F#, Hope you like it.
