Hello GMC! Today we have a new Funk Rock style lesson. In this lesson you can maybe hear a song in the style of RHCP. I think that this one is a mix between Californication and Blood Sugar Sex Magic. This tune is in E minor key and I used E pentatonic minor to compose the Riff and the different parts of the song.
In this song we have three different parts, the Intro; the verse and the chorus. In the chorus we have G (one bar), Bm (one bar), Em (one bar) and Bm (one bar) and the melody over it. The rest of the song is in Em.
The bass line and the guitar play something very similar but at the second bar I harmonized in thirds the guitar with the bass line.
I hope that you like the song!
