Alexiaden9316th April 2009Hey, when I saw this lesson (and for other reasons) I really wanted to register to the site, and here I am !
I really enjoy this tune, but I feel there is something a bit disturbing about the quick ascent
------------3-5-3-------|-----
3-------3-6-------6-5-3-|3-3-3 . . .
--6-4-6-----------------|-----
because it gets a bit annoying playing that last "3" 4 times in a row. I was just wondering whether I could change the pattern slightly to avoid this repetition:
--------------3-5-3-----|-----
3-------3-5-6-------6-5-|3-3-3 . . .
--6 4 6-----------------|-----
Sorry for disbelieving your expertise, but I would just like to know if you find this change appropriate to your tune or not (just for my own playing of course).
Alexiaden9316th April 2009Sorry that tablature didn't come out that well, but I find that you play it differently when doing it slowly than it says in the actual tablature for the video... I guess my new pattern is the same as you're playing in this video's slow version...
I am being annoying...
Alexiaden9324th April 2009You can ignore my previous comments, I believe I mastered this lesson, and it sounds really nice ! The part I had a problem with was the beginning of the quick change to the 15 (full bend), but I managed. I'll try some of your other stuff, you rock Hisham ! ![]()
Hisham Al-Sanea25th April 2009thanks Alexiaden93! if you need a help just ask any time
cheers.
Hisham Al-Sanea25th April 2009thanks to playaxeman
Alexiaden9321st July 2009Hey Hisham ! Long time no see
This is still and incredible composition, and I'm going to record an audio file, then when I get my camera I'll post it on the REC board !
I would like to add that there are some harmonic minor (Phrygian dominant ?) notes in the melody, so you could maybe add that to the description for the curious guys (and girls) ! ![]()
iamblackmo4th September 2009Great riffs on this one, brother. Love the harmony section.
