Whether you're into Dream Theater or Symphony X, rhythm guitar should be one of the main aspect of your studies. This lesson should inspire you to create some tight intricate rhythm tracks.
One of the most important aspect of progressive metal is its intricate rhythm parts. Bands such as Dream Theater or Symphony X are the inspiration of today's lesson in which we'll concentrate on playing as tight as possible.
We'll use several scale positions to create our riffs. Once you have memorized the different elements of the track, concentrate on precision and play with conviction attacking every note with engaged determination.
Have fun!
