Hello GMCers and welcome to Intermediate level from Hybrid Picking serial. Comparing with Beginner level, main difference is probably a bit faster licks but also use of ring finger, along with middle finger and the pick of course.

There is one very cool thing about Hybrid Picking, with less amount of gain or even better on clean sound, you can pop all the notes you're playing with your right hand fingers and get this kind of bass guitar effect. You probably won't be able to hear it a lot in this section but just a note to make you thinking. :)

So, it's in key of D minor, there are 2 scales involved, Dm scale and D Dorian, tempo is 148 bpm, 4/4 bar.

I used Korg Pandora PX4D for this lesson are here are the settings:
SGL > HUM 10.0
US HI-G Gain 4.0 Bass 2.0 Middle 0.7 Treble 5.0
JAZ 1x15 8.0
No Mod Effx
PPDLy3 5.3
PLATE 1 1.7

Have fun practicing and please ask if you need anything. :)
