  Either you are playing a very tiny guitar, or you have the longest fingers I have ever seen. Must be nice. I was once told that a lot of compositions have occurred because the composer had hands that were physically exceptional, so they could do something unique, thus an original composition came about. Also great tune there.

  lol! You should see my toes!! Just kiddin haha
  It is a new ESP same as the other one, this one has ashwood and mother of pearl trimming. I'm sure it's normal size:p
  You joke! I have a friend who does some of his session work on a minature fender.
  He's done a couple of live shows with it too lol! Catches everyone by surprise including the band.
  Hand or finger size/length shouldn't affect your playing to much. I do agree that certain physical aspects could influence a composition.
  Everyone is capable of a unique composition though no matter what

  Full song lesson of Straight Through the Heart by the band Inersha. Lesson includes full song backing track and album mp3 jam.
Hello again! Welcome to part 2 of Straight through the heart.

This part will cover the last riffs of the song. The lesson starts off with something familiar from the last lesson to get you going.

Use the videos and tabs together to see where the isolated riffs are played in the lesson. Fingerings and picking directions are included in the tabs.

Techniques used in part 2 include:
Alternate picking, String skipping and position shifts.

Backing tracks are available at different tempos with a full song jam loop and straight through the heart Mp3 to jam with. Hi-hat's have been put in the quieter bits of the track to help you keep time. All backing tracks have a one bar count in.

I used a multi-FX for this lesson as well. You'll need a clean tone with chorus/delay, and a dry main distortion.

Tuning for the lesson from low to high is B, F#, B, E, G#, C#
I used .11 gauge strings ideally replace the low string with a.56 gauge.

The Key of Straight through the Heart is E major we'll be using theis E major scale shape in part 2:
