Jazz Notes 8: Extending Chords

Hi guys! Jazz music uses a lot of extended chords. If you are not familiar with them and the theory behind, things can seem more complicated. Take a look at video #1 to read and listen how these chords are built. Also, be sure to master all the previous lessons about chords, inversions and voicing.



Try to incorporate extended chords in your own style and, most important, start writing some progression using these chords.
