Sentenced12th January 2009Wow that idea of jumping around is great, i have to use it for my own solos. Thanks Muris for this great beginner melodic solo.
One question: When i construct my solos i just think of theory, i know which notes sound good and just play with them until it sounds good, so its a lot of randomness. Is it a term of practice until i can actually hear the "solo melody" BEFORE! i start playing?

Sentenced, good approach to create nice melodic solo
is to sing for a while, our voice is kind a tempered to go for
melodic lines and not just scaling up and down.
And voice'd be using notes of proper scale
so there is a small chance for "wrong" notes,
give it a try.

Hello GMC and welcome to another serial, this one is called Jumping Around and it's at Beginner level atm.
So, the idea is to get some nice phrasing and lines but jumping around the fretboard which always leads to more colorful playing indeed. We're gonna keep it very simple this time tho, key of Am, Am scale in use ONLY.
