Hi GMC'ers! I've made this lesson in the style of Puya, a metal band from Puerto Rico. They do a mix of latin rhythms with new metal, a very special and unique combination. They have three albums:
* Puya (1995)
* Fundamental (1999)
* Union (2001)
The band had some special guests on the records, percussionists, trumpet players that add the latin spice to the records.
The techniques that I use in this lesson are:
* Alternate picking
* Palm mute
* Trills
* Octaves
I hope you enjoy the lesson! :)
If you have any doubts don't hesitate to post them on my board or send me a PM.
