Hi GMC'ers! This lesson is about a well-know new metal band, Linkin Park. For those who doesn't know the band they were formed in 1996 and they have three studio albums:
*Hybrid theory (2000)
*Meteora (2003)
*Minutes to midnight (2007)
This lesson is more about the first two records. You will notice sometimes that there are more than one guitar, and Linkin has only one guitar player. But many things are triggered by the DJ Joseph Hann, although now a days the second singer Mike Shinoda is playing some guitars live.
The tuning for this lesson is drop D tuning (although in their first record they used to play in C# drop tuning, that would be the whole guitar tuned half-step down and the 6th a whole step down from there).
6 sting - D
5 sting - A
4 sting - D
3 sting - G
2 sting - B
1 sting - E
I hope you enjoy the lesson! :)
