Hi GMC! In this lesson we will look at the maj 7 chords, how to play them, which fingerings to use, and which positions to choose.
Harmony beneath this little exercise is B maj7, E maj7, A maj7, D maj7, G maj7, C maj7, A# maj7. Chord pattern repeats 3 times, and each time we use different shape which uses different type of the maj 7 chord. Practice this all around a neck as shown and as times goes by you will be able to improvise using maj 7 arpeggios, to hear them in a tune. There are some shapes that require large stretches so, be careful.
