Hello GMC!
-In todays lesson we are going to learn a Major Scale. This is definitly a first stop for every beginning bass player. You will learn its construction and basic theory definitions along with it , that will be recalled on to in other lessons.
-Along with the theory basics behind the scale construction you are going to practice your left and right hand fingering/picking technique.
-This lesson is covering the C major scale and different patterns to play it.You will be able to transfer concepts learned here to any other key.
-Tempo: 120 bpm
-Time signature: 4/4
-Tuning: standard
-Difficulty: beginner
Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added treble and bass on onboard eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position).
Feel free to ask me any questions in the lesson feedback and in my instructor board at forum.
Enjoy and I hope you'll have a lot of fun learning your first scale!
