Hi there, Lian here once again, this time with 3rd part of our Metal Series. As I said in the previous one, goal of this Series is mix a lot of licks and riffs to free our mind in time of improvisation adding ideas from every metal style.

Here IŽve include some pentatonic licks among chords lines as well as some hard rock or glam passages. Here weŽll use techniques as Alternate Picking, Palm muting, bends, vibratos, octaves, some chromatic lines, chords and power chords. So, learn this series step by step and have fun

Chords: are included in every video.
Used scales: E minor, A pentatonic minor
Bar: 4/4
Notes: Eighth/ Eighth Triplet/ Sixteenth
Tune Down: 1/2 step
TEMPO: 130 bpm

As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. In my board youŽll find my presets ;)
In the other hand, hereŽre the settings.

Amp model: based on SOLDANO SLO-100 head
Drive 9
Bass 8.3
Middle 8
Treble 8.2
Presence 8

Small room Reverb:
Predelay 0%
Decay 42 %
Tone 50%
Mix 39%

Have in mind that same settings in other gear will produce a different sound, but, as we talked at the forum, this could be cool for some members, so enjoy!

If you have any problems let me know. Take care.
I hope you like this lesson, see you around.
