SO..you sold your SG?
Rockaboveclouds19th June 2009Hello David,
Many thanks for the lesson!
However I think there“s a little mistake in the diagram of lesson No.5 between 10 and 12 seconds.
I think the riff you play is D D C# B followed by the Asus chord but the diagram says C# C# C G# followed by the Asus chord.
Am I right?
Cheers Herbert

Ramiro Delforte20th June 2009An Ozzy classic! Very cool David ![]()
fkalich20th June 2009Like the hat, looks good on you. I expect it represents something that blows by me, maybe Ozzie wore such a hat. BTW, I think it is about time Kris had a David week here, as we have had for two others. He deserves the recognition. If he has time for it considering what else he has on his plate at the moment.
Dexxter21st June 2009Classic!
Is it just on my computer or are the sound of your guitar "lagging"(in lack of a better word) in the end of the videos? :S
Joruus21st June 2009Awesome David!
You keep bringing out lessons about songs i want to learn
Ive been practicing sweetchild and crazy train intro's for a while but now i can finally learn the rest much easyer with these lessons
Dexxter21st June 2009"doubling" is probably a better word, now when I listened closer. In the end (last minute/minutes of the videos) something happens to the sound, and you're guitar sound is doubled with a kind of delay. Don't know how to describe it better.
David Wallimann21st June 2009Glad you like the lesson!
Yeah, I think my camcorder is messed up. That hapened before.

This lesson will teach you how to play the classic riffs of Crazy Train.
When Ozzy released Crazy Train in 1980, few would have thought that it would become one of modern rock's most influential pieces. Whether you are into heavy metal, or blues, you owe it to yourself to study this piece.
In this lesson, we'll take a look at all the riffs that make the song so special.
Here is the structure of the whole song:
Bass intro (8 bars)
Intro Riff (8 bars)
verse (20 bars)
pre-chorus (10 bars)
chorus (4 bars)
verse (20 bars)
pre-chorus (10 bars)
chorus (4 bars)
bridge (8 bars)
solo (16 bars)
Intro Riff (8 bars)
verse (20 bars)
pre-chorus (10 bars)
chorus (4 bars)
bridge (8 bars)
As always, try to be as clean as you can and use this song as an inspiration to your own musical creations.
Have fun!
