Hi GMCers, welcome to another lesson from me. To this lesson, I was thinking of using the A harmonic minor scale and try to compose an etude with alternate picking & string skipping.
A few years ago, I was in love with the neo-classical style, so I had learned a lot of licks and little pieces from Paganini.
I think there´re some ideas still in my head because when I play the harmonic minor scale, it´s too difficult to scape from his classical sound. :P So, I hope you find interesting this lesson. Have fun and ask if you need some help.
Used scales: D minor, A harmonic minor.
Bar: 4/4
Notes: Eighth.
Tune Down: 1/2 step
TEMPO: 210 bpm
As some of you know, I use POD xt to rec all my lessons. In my board you´ll find my presets ;)
On the other hand, here´re the settings for people who wants.
Amp model: based on Soldano Slo-100
Drive 9
Bass 4.9
Middle 5

Remember: Same settings in another gear will produce a different sound, but, as we´ve talked at the forum, this could be cool for some members, so enjoy!
If you have any problems let me know. Take care. See you all around.
