  • Ok friends of GMC! In this lesson, we will continue studying Paramore's, but this time, we will study the style of their ballads!

    Paramore is a band fundamentally known by their great energy, powerful melodies and really beautiful songs (my opinion). In their discs you will find ballads like "Oh Star", "Franklin", "My heart" and others. The today lesson is based on the song "When it rains"! Very cool song!

    Ok! Sincerely, all their ballads are very powerful, start by transmitting feelings, but they finish with great power! The arrangements of guitar are not very difficult, not complicated, but they sound great!

    Band members

        * Hayley Williams: Lead vocals.
        * Josh Farro: Guitar.
        * Jeremy Davis: Bass
        * Zack Farro: Drums.
        * Taylor York: Guitar 2.

    Discography

    2005- All we know is falling
    2006- The summer tic EP
    2007- Riot!
    2008- Live in the UK 2008!

    The study of this band is very important to create your own songs in this style. We'll use some techniques as Palm muting and down picking in this lesson.

    Guitar tune down ½ step D#G#C#F#A#D#

    Audio Settings: to record this lesson I have used the POD X3 live.
    Analog Chorus: Depth 66%            Mix: 35%
    Analog Delay with modulation: 413ms             Mix: 43%    feedback: 43%

    Nothing is impossible!
    Feel the music and God bless you!
