Jerry Arcidiacono12th August 2009Very nice licks. It's very important to improvise over different time signatures as well.

Hi GMC!
In this lesson I demonstrated playing over unusual time signature, although phrases are not organized in strictly 5/4 manner. Using different note accenting, 5/4 feel is achieved, which means that you don’t have to organize your playing in mathematical order, you can just play through. I used G and A# minor pentatonics with lots of string skipping, those pentatonic scales can be viewed as minor 7 arpeggios as well.
Enjoy!
Regards!
