Excellent lesson Lian ! Great modulations
Great lesson and riffing Lian
great lesson but i don't think its for complete beginners. i mean getting perfect pinch harmonics on the thick strings isn't something you get that easily and i don't know about you but i couldn't PM that well a few days after i got my guitar. but the riffing was amazing. i really like your taste in riffing and im trying to reproduce it with riffs im writing and its hard, so well done.
Excellent riffing Lian !
Exactly what I needed Lian thanks!
These riffs rock! Great job!
Cool intro riffs! And i always wondered, why are you always tuned 1\2 step down, is there some mystery behind this?
Hello everybody!
This lesson is exclusively for beginners who want to improve rhythm guitar.
First days with a guitar and you want to play something more than etudes and exercises? Well you´ll find this lesson so easy and funny.
Some members asked me a while ago for a lesson really for beginners. So I create a little tune to work with. I´ve used notes from the Am scale to compose the whole tune.
Pay attention on timing, on your right hand, and if you need it, practice the lesson in slow tempo first.
BTW, rec a sample of you playing the lesson, and upload it at my board if you want some feedback!
So, ask whatever you need.
Take this lesson step by step and have fun!
Used scales: A Minor.
Meter: 4/4
Tune Down: 1/2 step
TEMPO: 130 bpm
As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. In my board you´ll find my presets ;)
On the other hand, here´re the settings for people who wants them..
Amp model: based on Marshall JCM-800
Drive 2
Bass 4.9
Middle 5
Treble 6.8
Presence 5
Small room Reverb:
Predelay 0%
Decay 42 %
Tone 50%
Mix 43%
Remember: Same settings in other gear will produce a different sound, but, as we´ve talked at the forum, this could be useful for some members, so enjoy!
If you have any problems let me know. Take care.
see you all around.
