It's Christmas, and for the occasion I decided to take a section of an arrangement of silent night I wrote to share some of my favorite bluesy bebop licks.
We'll be working mostly in the key of A Mixolydian, however make sure to follow the chords as there are a few surprises in there. Also, while improvising, give a swing to your rhythm to achieve the proper effect. Listening to the backing track should help you in that matter.
