  • Hi GMC! In this lesson I will show you how to arrange a simple chord progression into a more complex tune. Also I want to explore different measures.

This lesson starts with a rhythm in 5/4 and then transforms into a 3/ 4. Besides the arrangement of a simple chord progression and the different measures there is a part of the lesson that uses chords with open strings.

All the lessons have a progressive sounding, like a Dream Theater song or maybe a progressive song from the 70's.

    Enjoy it!

    The progression:

    Part 1 Intro: Esus4/D- E/D- Dsus4- D- Csus4/D- C/D- Bb/D- D
    Part 2 Second time: Dsus4- C#m- Csus4- Bm- Bbsus4- Am- Bb/D- Dm7- Am/D

    Part 3&5 Chorus: D- D/C#- D/C- D/B- D/Bb- D/C

    Part 4 Verse: Bsus4- C#m 9- G#m b13- Amaj7- Bsus4- C#m 9- G#m b13- A7
