  • Hi guys, welcome to a new lesson based on the well known band called Stratovarius. I was asked a while ago to create a lesson based on Visions Album. So, finally, we have it.
Thanks to the members who requested this lesson on my board ;)

This lesson is full of power metal atmospheres, some melodies, some solos, a deep view over rhythm guitar and, from my point of view, it´s too funny to learn and play. You wont find something extremely difficult in this one, but there´re some tricky stuff at the end, so the most important here´s to learn the used pattern well, and then practice it in a tempo you feel comfortable to work with.

Take this lesson step by step, and feel free to ask whatever you need.

Used scales: E minor, B minor
    Meter: 4/4
    Guitar Tune: Down 1/2 step
    TEMPO: 140 bpm

As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. In my board you´ll find my presets ;) On the other hand, here´re the settings for people who wants them..

Amp model: based on Marshall JCM-800
    Drive 2
    Bass 4.9
    Middle 5
    Treble 6.8
    Presence 5

    Small room Reverb:
    Predelay 0%
    Decay 42 %
    Tone 50%
    Mix 43%

Remember: Same settings in other gear will produce a different sound, but, as we´ve talked at the forum, this could be useful for some members, so enjoy!

If you have any problems let me know. Take care.
    see you all around.
