Hi GMC'ers! In this opportunity we'll see some progressive riffs in a style that sometimes is called tech-prog because their metrics and odd rhythms. The idea here is to explore the difficulties that comes with these kind of meters, and the changes of them, also the rhythms involved are a little bit tricky.
Some bands to check this kind of style are:
*Meshuggah (they do this kind of style but with a mix of death metal)
*Event
*Planet X
*Dream Theater (in a certain way)
*Aghora
*Cynic
*Scale the summit
I hope you enjoy the lesson! :)
