Hi, GMC! This is the first variation from Mauro Giulianif's "Variations on a theme of Handel".
It is very similar to the theme, but the accompaniment gets more interesting and difficult.
The melody is legato (smooth and connected) and the bass notes are played with staccato (short), which are controlled by both left hand and right hand.
It takes a while to get used to, but it has a rewarding effect.
