There are a few things you can do:
You can tune your guitar to D# and play everything one step lower.
You can play the part from a different string, starting from the B string, 12th fret so it would go 12, 11, 12 switch to the high E and 11, 14, 17, 14, 11 and then follow the lick I showed in the vid. - peterthechriss8th March 2009

By the way it's fun to play slower as well, so if you practice it, eventually you will do it faster than this...

Hello again!
In this lesson we will learn one of the best known melody that is connected to Hungary. You might find it on the web with a minor mispelling, like "Czardas".
This piece is a very good excercize for alternate picking and for both hands. Also is a great picking excercize for the so called inside the string picking, at which lot of guitarist have problems.
Csárdás (pronounced "char-dash") is a traditional Hungarian folk dance, the name derived from csárda (old Hungarian name for a pub). It originated in Hungary and was popularized by Roma music(Cigány) bands in Hungary and neighboring lands of Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Burgerland, Croatia, Carpatian Ruthenia, Transylvania and Moravia, as well as among the Banat Bulgarians, including those in Bulgaria. ( from Wikipedia )
Vittorio Monti (6 January 1868 – 20 June 1922) was an Italian composer, violinist, and conductor. Monti was born in Naples where he studied violin and composition at the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella. Around 1900 he got an assignment as the conductor for the Lamoureux Orchestra in Paris where he wrote several ballets and operettas, for example Noël de Pierrot.
His best known work is his Csárdás, written around 1904 and played by almost every gypsy orchestra. ( from Wikipedia ).Remember, tuning is in D ( D, G, C, F, A, D ).
