  • Hello GMC!

    -Today we are going to walk a 4 feel bass line to a 7th chords progression! That means you will learn how to use another note in your walking bass improvisation - major or minor 7th.

    -You will utilize your seventh chord arpeggios forms we covered in some of my previous lessons to improvise a walking bass line over seventh chords! All concepts from previous lessons will apply for 4 feel type of line, only difference will be an added note!

    -This lesson is in the key of F major.If your interested to learn how to build chords that will fit one scale, take a look at my Harmonizing Major Scale lesson series.

    -Key: F
    -Tempo: 120 bpm
    -Time signature: 4/4
    -Tuning: standard
    -Difficulty: beginner/intermediate

    Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added treble and middle on onboard eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position).
