Hello GMC!
-In this lesson we are going to combine 2 feel and 4 feel lines in one tune. We are going to practice transitions between these two feels and see which one to use where.
-Backing will be jazzy, utilizing 7th chords so all the knowledge from previous lessons will be utilized. You will practice your improvisation skills and also timing to be able to go from 4 feel to 2 feel smoothly.
-This lesson is in the key of D. We harmonized D major scale using 7th chords.
-Key: D
-Tempo: 120 bpm
-Time signature: 4/4
-Tuning: standard
-Difficulty: beginner/intermediate
Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added treble and bass on onboard eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position).
Feel free to ask me any questions in the lesson feedback and in my instructor board at forum.
