CodyPaul25th April 2008Great Lesson, I love this. I have some simple questions though. Please forgive me as I'm still very new and trying to learn basics as well. At the top of the tab you have Q and E. what do they stand for? I'm pretty sure the 3 is for a triplet. The other thing is the g and the b in the tab. Trying to watch closly I think they stand for hammer on and pull off. Is this correct?

Brings up another question though... Whats a ghost note?
CodyPaul26th April 2008Whoops, sorry, meant grace note, but would like to know both anyway.... sory.
Ivan Milenkovic26th April 2008I think the best explanation is on Wiki, but if you need some more information after checking that I'll be glad to help:

chmilew24th June 2008We definitely need more acoustic stuff at GMC
Cool lesson btw ! ![]()
Ivan Milenkovic24th June 2008Thanks man. Unfortuantely I had to return the acoustics (it wasn't mine), so I can't do the one more lesson on blues I planned ![]()
Jesse13th July 2008Hey! This lesson blew me away... exactly why I bought my acoustic!!! We both got an epiphone thats cool. Very nice lesson indeed! Usefull as heck.. the pureness "is that a word?" Or purity is so clear and awesome... lightning hopkins all the way!
Ivan Milenkovic14th July 2008Cool man I'm glad you like it. It's not mine acoustic, a friend borrowed to me, and I used it for couple of lessons, but then had to return it. When I buy acoustic, you'll have more acoustic lessons from me, I promise ![]()
This is my favorite series on GMC Ivan. I just love acoustic blues
Nothing can beat that!
Ivan Milenkovic12th February 2009Hehe, thanks man, glad to hear you like it! ![]()
I love this style of blues - I would really like to see something advanced - Kirby Kelly style double slide would be very cool.

Ivan Milenkovic14th January 2010Wow, this is some great stuff. I would sure like to do it, but I'm not that good with two slides. Perhaps in some time when I learn to play with two slides on a bit more advanced level. Thanks for the recommendation tho.

Delta blues is a very distinctive blues style, one of the first blues styles known. In this lesson we will do some simple fingerstyle Delta Blues licks.
