This piece can improve your fingerpicking, as well as left hand finger positioning. There are lot of open strings used here and it takes skill not to mute them whit left hand fingers.

Hi GMC and welcome to the lesson. This time it's Andantino by Matteo Carcassi (1792-1853) Italian guitarist and composer. Andantino is a tempo slightly faster than Andante, but slower than Moderato. The limit between Andante and Moderato is approximately 108 bpm, and this piece is played at 100 bpm.

This piece can improve your fingerpicking (three fingers used here: thumb, index and middle), as well as left hand finger positioning. There are lot of open strings used here and it takes skill not to mute them whit left hand fingers.

    Key signature: C Major
    Time signature 2/4
    Tempo: 100 bpm

So have fun with this :)

Feedback, comments and questions are welcome.

    Cheers
    Dejan
