Hi Gmcers. This is the very popular tune which is known as Ode To Joy. To Joy is an ode written in 1785 by the German poet, playwright and historian Friedrich Schiller. This tune is the fourth and final movement of Beethoven's 9th symphony.

There is also a hymn with this tune called "Joyful joyful We adore thee". This small piece is a very good exercise for both left hand and right hand.

Beethoven has a special talent of using his musical genius to translate his deep and personal feelings . Ode to Joy truly invites a special spirit that I can feel deep in my heart. Thanks for the lesson Vinod!

Love this tune so much. I just started the classical guitar and the counterpoint is pretty rough, working on it so I can play stuff like this!
