Great lesson but isn't the tab for the guitar riff wrong? It sounds like you're playing four As and not two like the tab says.

Here's a lesson devoted to just the kick drum. Especially in today's rock music the bass drum has been extremely important. The beat presented here is all about the kick. As you can see, there really isn't much to the rest of the beat.
