The Granainas comes from the region of Granada in the south of Spain.
It is a free form and has no stricked tempo as you can play each part as you want, with your own feeling, but it has a 3/4 feel to it.
The backing track is just a rough tempo you can try once you know how to play all the parts.
Try and warm up your hands with some Rasgueados before attempting to play the arpeggios as you have to be very controlled and precise with the picking.

This is a good exercise for the little finger as it has to pick out the melody notes of the top strings.
This is a Variation on the last clip,it only changes at the end.
This is a very typical ending to falseta(melodic passage) for Granainas

E---------------------------2-SLIDE UP TO-7--------------
To play the Rsagueados, start with you little finger, then 3rd, 2nd and first.
The sliding F# up to B, tells us that it is a Granaina, because you do this sat the end of every melodic part and can also tell a singer it is time to come in as well, unless the guitarist wishes to play another Falseta.

A close up of the right hand just for the Finale(same tab as the last clip)
Here we have a close up of the left hand, so you can see better the chords.
I didn't do a closup of the part that comes next, because it starts of similarly and ends with chords you should know well already C F# and B.
Another left hand close up which goes with clip 3.

This is the Part that finishes a Falseta (melodic part) and defines the piece as a Granaina.
This slide up from the F# to the B is a simple one,but in later videos we will look at more interesting finishes.
See you next time and look out for my other videos on guitarmasterclass.
Hi thanks for your comments, I want to do some more, but unfortunately at the moment I have so many students, I have no time to do video editing.
I will try as soon as I can to do some more.
