Ben N24th October 2007yes
there are a few types.. the one im useing
call the modern one.. basecly you start with the
pinkie one by one with a downstrok until you go to the finger and an upstrok with the finger (you pick 5 times in one rasgueado )
try that all the fingers will get a leverage
and resistance from the thumb.. place it on the 5 sting..
it will sound more
powerfull and also practice that every finger
will sound the same as the rest
hope thats answer your question.. let me
know if there is enithing else ![]()
jammer9127th October 2007I still dont get the rasgueado...
Needs a lot more practice on acoustic.
Can i do this lesson on a steel string?
hey jammer, i had some problems too with the rasqueado.. it is shown in detail in the farruca lesson ;-)
Ben N25th November 2007I think it would be more easy on the classic
guitar because the strings are more soft...
Carlos Carrillo21st February 2008Thanks Ben...Nice feeling in the fingers..Great lesson i want more!
Really great man love this ill learn this
Ha, try playing this with a pick for a totally different but equally awesome lesson ![]()

This is a great exercise to quickly develop speed on the acoustic guitar. By applying different right hand fingers on the same note in a quick succession, we can achieve an effect similar to tremolo picking.
