Hello, GMC! Here is another Prelude by Frederic Chopin.
In the last lesson, I showed you Prelude Nr. 7 in D major, originally in A major on the piano. Now, this is Prelude Nr. 20 in C# minor, originally in C minor.
As Nr. 7, this was also arranged for the guitar by Francisco Tarrega. It looks like this is playable in the original key of C minor on the guitar. I don't really know why Tarrega transposed it one step higher.
Anyway, it sounds very effective on the guitar. It consists of a series of block chords. In the middle of the piece, the chord progression gets chromatic and it's so beautiful.
It is not easy to play block chords connected each other on the guitar. And each note of a chord must be well balanced. I will show you how!
