		Hello flamenco fanatics! In this lesson we are going to see a very deep and dramatic style:  seguiriyas. 



Its main characteristic value is the metrical structure, that is based on a cycle of five beats, using a combination of 3/4 and 6/8 time. The phrase starts in the second beat of 3/4 bar, and ends in the first beat of the 3/4 bar. You can see the score and will understand much better. 



The tonality is A, in flamenco mode, that is, on andalucian cadence: Dm, C, Bb and A. Bb and A are the most used chords. 



I´ve inserted a backing track, although I´ve played the lesson without it, because it allows you to practice with a flamenco "cajón". I hope you enjoy it!
