Here is the first study from Matteo Carcassii, g25 Melodious Studies for Guitar.
I have shown arpeggio patterns by Carcassif in a previous lesson on GMC. This set of studies is widely popular among serious classical guitar students even after a few hundred years of its composition.
The first study in C major seems like a bunch of simple scales, but it is indeed a great exercise for strong and secure right hand alternate picking.
With this study, you can develop:
1. Right hand alternate picking
2. Smooth left hand shifting
3. Left hand finger independence for counterpoint
4. Right hand arpeggio
