Happy holidays GMC:ers! This lesson is my arrangement for the Italian carol "Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle", literally, "You come down from the stars", written by Alfonso Maria de' Liguori, on the 18th century.

This is a fingerpicking lesson and I hope it will be useful also for beginners.

The strategy for this type of arrangement is quite simple: to build the arpeggio you play the melody and with other notes of the backing chords you fill the "holes", i.e. rests or tied notes. To make your playing more complete you can add also some bass notes, often the root note of the chord.

Key: G major
Time signature: 6/8
Tempo: 90 bpm

Enjoy!
