That's one cool 7-string! It could use some headstock work but the body looks great - IMO! There are so many different guitar designs, each one of them is cool on it's own!!!

That one string alone opens up many arpeggio/chord/riff possibilities. I think every guitar player should own a 7.

The opening riff sounds a lot like "The Serpant's Kiss" by Symphony X... I really do like the riffing in this lesson though. I haven't had too many chances to play a seven string, just a cheap/low-end Schecter...
