Hi! This lesson is a rock lesson inspired by bands like Extreme, GN’R, Jane’s addiction and Aerosmith. In this one you’ll find a rocker riff in F# minor key and a solo in F# pentatonic minor and F# Aeolian minor scales.

The solo is a funky rock solo which includes lick in the style of Nuno Bettencourt, Dave Navarro and Slash. I find very interesting to analyse these guitarists because they use to create solos that combine melodies, rock licks and funky rhythms. There are some very difficult and fast licks in this solo so if you are a beginner be patient and practice every part slowly with metronome.

Tempo: 102 bpm.
Tunning: Standard 440.

Gabriel.-

This is awesome Gabriel - the riff is simple yet really strong. How you rhythmically build the picking run is soo cool - I just have to learn this! biggrin.gif

Nice solo

I notice how your left hand movements are EXTREMELY tiny. I am gonna have to work on doing that to build speed.

And another great one from you! :]
The more I play your lessons the more I get to like your own style of playing! Surely one of my biggest influences is Gabriel Leopardi :]

And if it is not considered against the site rules, because of advertisement or something, I(and surely many more) would like to know about the release of the first Cirse album! Don't leave us short on information :]

Congrats for providing so great lessons and for being so versatile when it comes to styles!

Love all the angles - thanks for the hard work! These speedy riffs are great for those like me who know the pentatonic minor inside & out but were never pushed to these speeds! Top shelf!

Great lesson bud.
maybe im going crazy but I believe on slide 3 theres a tab erroer. you have to end this section
(B stirng) 17 (then down below) 17 17 (G) 16 14 16

I think it should read: 17 L 17, 16 14 16

middle 17 -> L,. again i might be wrong. probably am, a lot of posts and no one else noticed it? unlikely tongue.gif

Thanks! I'm using the original humbuckers (that comes with the gibson studio) and a tube head similar to the Messa Boggie., but made in Argentina.
