Let's work on downstrokes and some new intervals to make our riffing sound more interesting. One trick is to add a perfect 5th on a lower string, below the root note. With extended angles of this lesson you will never miss a note!

Welcome to our next metal riffing lesson. If you have successfully finished the previous "Heavy Metal for Beginners" lessons, this one shouldn't be a problem at all. Today we'll work mostly on downstrokes and some intervals changes to make riffing sound more interesting. If you are ready for more metal riffing, dive inside and see for yourself what this lesson is all about.
