			THEORY LESSON.

In this second Jazz Notes lesson we will take a look at some basic triads and their inversions. Triads are just about the simplest type of chord you can get.

Hi GMC! Today we will talk about triads and inversions. Check video #1 to read and listen the theory about this lesson.

Main video can be a little enigmatic/boring to hear :D So, be patient while you're learning because if you learn well all the triad shapes, your knowledge of the fretboard will improve a lot.

I made a Jam backing track at 100 bpm. The structure here is

1 bar for D triad - 1 bar for Dm triad - 1 bar for Dm/5- triad - 1 bar for Daug triad
1 bar for E triad - 1 bar for Em triad - 1 bar for Em/5- triad - 1 bar for Eaug triad
1 bar for F# triad - 1 bar for F#m triad - 1 bar for F#m/5- triad - 1 bar for F#aug triad

and so on, raising the root note - a whole step - after four bars. With this backing you can play triads in different keys, using different shapes from your choice.
