Hey Guys! Today I prepared an easier rock lesson for beginners inspired in Joe Satriani. I have been listening to his albums this days and I discovered that I love the compositions, the sound and the mix of his album also called “Joe Satriani”. The sound of the guitar is soooo rocker and the drums sound is perfect for that songs. The songs are simple, with nice riffs and wonderful melodies. I recommend that album!
Ok. In this lesson I recorded an easy riff (+ power chords) and then a simple melody using some licks that are very used by Satriani. I suggest beginners to first learn all the beginner lessons of this site and then try playing this one. I think that you won’t find it so difficult.

I used C pentatonic minor to compose both the riff and the licks so it would be great if you learn C pentatonic minor in your guitar and use it to make improvisations over the two backing tracks.

Tempo: 105 bpm.

Bye!!

Gabriel.-
