Here's another riff from one of my songs. It's what many people might call a "breakdown" as there is heavy groove riffage accompanied with "silence" in between the notes. There's a lot of intense picking in this one, so practice slowly.
Also, strongly observe my left hand throughout the lesson and how it mutes the strings after different parts. It's extremely important to mute the strings with your left hand in order to get that "tight" sound that this style demands.
