Hello GMC! This lesson is a power metal rhythm lesson inspired in the style of Angra, Stratovarius, Rhapsody of Fire and Sonata Arctica. When I finished the guitar work I recorded some orquestra arrangements based in a style created by the band Rhapsody of Fire called "Hollywood Metal". However there are lots of power metal bands that use orquestal instruments in their music.

I created this lesson because it’s an interesting exercise to practice fast metal rhythms with palm and also to practice sweep picking in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen and Luca Turrilli.

The key is E minor and the tempo is 160 bpm. I created 5 backing tracks at different tempos to let beginner, intermediate and advanced guitar players practice this tune.

See you!

Gabriel.-

Thats awesome, Gabriel.

However, when I awake, this is the first thing I'm going to do.
