Hello GMC! Today I recorded an easy rock riffs lesson for beginners and intermediate. This is a song of my band Cirse called Tecno. As many of the GMC’ers said that this is their favourite song and others ask me for this song’s tab I decided to make a lesson.
I don’t know why but this is my band’s easier song but it’s the one that I enjoy most when we are playing live.

The song sounds a bit like Muse, Manson, NIN and Ramstein but with a girl on vocals. I think that this lesson will be very usefull for beginners that want to improve their rhythmic abilities and I hope that it inspires you to create your own rock songs.
Check a live video of this song here: http://www.myspace.com/cirsemusic .

See you!

Gabriel.-

I have to agree - this probably is my favourite Cirse song right now. It proves once again that less is more as far as riff construction goes. biggrin.gif

How happy was I when I opened GMC to find this lesson on the main page? Very I must say smile.gif Great song by Cirse and from what I've seen another great lesson for our riff master Gabriel. I'm only home on lunch break from work so can't really dive into it, but my Saturday night is now planned. Can't wait smile.gif

Cirse rocks a lot. Good to see the myspace videos. The playing is just perfect and Luciana shows lots of energy. Any link for the lyrics? For a brazilian it is easy to read spanish, but understanding the spoken language is harders =P

It sounds cool! We would love to make a tour there! I know many great bands from Sweden but you must know even more. Which bands can you recomend me?

Thanks for the comments!

Great, some new stuff for me to try out. I find it a little bit of a work out which is what I need. I'm still hopeful I can play something half this cool someday.

I'd recomend In Flames (of course! new album in april!! =)) Dark Traquillity, At the Gates, (These three where basiclly the founders of melodic metall) Mustasch, Opeth, meshuggah (talking heavy stuff here!), The Haunted... yeah those are the ones that comes to my mind right now... and most of them are from my beutiful hometown, Gothenburg =) and will also play at the metaltown festival here this summer!! I really look forward to that!

Yesw, I remember when the Gothenburg death metal sound was starting in the 90's. It was very well received here in Argentina. I love that sound and In Flames is also my favourite from there. Whoracle is my favourite album. Are these bands (In Flames, The Haunted, Dark Trankility) very famous there in Sweden? I mean... how many people go when they do a show?
