Well, I read on the forum how Marcus use it, so I decided to try it out. I wasn't thrilled with version 2 but GR3 is probably the best software there is. It models the punch from 4x12 nicely, better then Gearbox, and it has a ton of features. I will not transfer to another month or so, I'm waiting for a new sound card.

I'm not leaving Gearbox for now, but planning to do so in the next months. I think GR3 has better options and it is more versatile. It also has a bit better sound on some presets. Gearbox has some great sounds as well, so transfer will be a bit difficult until I found good presets with GR3 as well.

Ivan Milenkovic23rd December 2008It has lot more components, and some very cool Tool modifiers. It's a stereo plug so you can split the channels and make virtual crossovers so you apply effects only to bass notes for example. These are just some of the functions. It has full MIDI control support, and very easy to use.
