Hello there GMC, welcome to my new lesson in the style of Tower Of Power. :)

This lesson was requested from some of the members some time ago and now it is turn to cover the style of this great funk band that was active and very popular in the '70ties. Most of this lesson is based on one of their most popular songs "what is hip".

In this lesson we are doing a lot of syncopated licks, so it would be wise to take things slowly, although it is not a hard lesson. A bit of practicing with a click and studying those pauses will really mean a lot while learning these licks. So what are we waiting for - let's funk some! :)

This lesson contains:

- Tower Of Power style guitar licks
- Cool funky grooves
- Syncopated rhythmic patterns
- left hand muting
- play-along metronome on videos for easier playing

Unfortunately for this lesson, I didn't used any preset from gearbox, so I will not give a tutorial. I'm currently transferring to Guitar Rig 3, so in future I will give Guitar Rig 3 tutorials mostly. Until then, keep practicing! :)
