How to cheat on 3-notes per string scales, and unlock unlimited speed with tapping.

Hi guys Joe Kataldo here, today I wanna show you how to cheat on 3-notes per string scales, and unlock unlimited speed with tapping.

This Lesson Will Improve: Major Scale/Modes Shape Knowledge - Tapping - Legato.

3-notes per String Scales with Tapping
    --------------------------------------

While tapping is mainly a technique to play wide intervals on guitar, apply it to 3-notes per string scales, mainly made to alternate pick fast, will give us the possibility to play very fast passages, with a smooth legato sound.

The study presents all the seven shapes of the C major scale, played with tapping.

    Techniques Focus
    ----------------

The idea is to not use pick at all, and hammer on with left hand the first two notes and tap the third one ascending, and tap the first note and pull of the remaining two descending. Combine legato and tapping will give you unlimited speed, and the ability of play fast passage at speed that you cannot with alternate picking.

    Pro Tips
    --------

Combine 3-notes per string scales and pentatonic scale, both played with tapping to instantly creato monster licks!

    Se you next lesson,

    Joe Kataldo.
