   Welcome to the modal workout lesson! Today I decided to help with your alternate picking chops and review the 7 church modes with 3 notes per string patterns.

The track will go from one mode to the other without stoping, so majke sure to be familiar with the following position. Once you are, take a look at the first lick and memorize the sequence. All the rest should fall into place once you did that.

The key is B and we'll modulate in the following order:

B Ionian
B Dorian
B Phrygian
B Lydian
B Mixolydian
B Aeolian
B Locrian

hey dave i could do this using that legato technique!
but i can do it without the music cos it is too fast!
