I composed this solo for my band's version of Green Day's song Good Riddance. We created a punk rock version of this nice ballad to play it live and we decided to add this rock solo.

Hello GMC! This lesson is a rock solo that starts in E major key and then it modulates to C# minor key that is the relative minor of E major. I composed this solo for my band’s version of Green Day’s song Good Riddance. We created a punk rock version of this nice ballad to play it live and we decided to add this rock solo.
I think that this lesson will be interesting because we’ll use different rock licks in pentatonic minor scale, alternate picking technique, octave chords and modulation.
